Mura is a Barcelona studio authoring natural alabaster lamps, hand-crafted in Catalonia. Each lamp is sculpted from solid blocks quarried locally, showcasing varying degrees of veining. All share the same translucency, recalling the light and texture of a rising full moon, and a timeless architectural allure.

About

Mura began with a conversation in a Barcelona café, about alabaster and how singular a stone it is: workable under the hand, faintly translucent, yet with the weight of statuary.

Behind it are two designers, Bartosz, from Sweden, and Gabri, from Italy, who met over a shared devotion to form, to light, and to the quiet measure of mid-century Spanish design.
